<\/figure>\n\n\n\nHe said that the digital school initiative is a major breakthrough for the e-learning process, creating a modern technical education system that meets the needs of students in refugee camps and the most vulnerable social groups, and relies on information technology and artificial intelligence, and contributes to the continuation of their education process despite the challenges they face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added, “This initiative would make a qualitative leap in the level of educational services directed to these segments, especially in the countries that will benefit from their programs at this stage, which include Egypt, Jordan, Mauritania and Colombia, in addition to the Kurdistan region of Iraq.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy Secretary-General said that the Emirates Red Crescent Authority will spare no effort to achieve the goals of the initiative and expand the umbrella of beneficiaries of its educational and academic programs in the concerned countries, indicating that the authority’s logistical role in many countries targeted by the digital school initiative translates the directives of the wise leadership to extend a helping hand to all. It consolidates the active humanitarian role of the UAE regionally and globally, and enhances its position as a major focus of global efforts aimed at achieving sustainable development based on education, combating poverty and ignorance, and spreading knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He pointed out that the role of the Red Crescent Logistics Authority is working to enhance the school’s digital programs, by preparing integrated digital classrooms equipped with smart study aids, represented by tablets and electronic display screens, to facilitate the academic achievement process for students, in addition to contributing to the process of evaluating the experience from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is noteworthy that the digital school held during the last period a number of courses for teachers to train on digital education skills, as part of an integrated program to be implemented in cooperation with Arizona State University, USA, and to create digital content and equip learning centers to enhance the digital education experience through the digital school platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
